Placement Policy

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy  to ensure that students have access to their local school.

Proof of Residency

100 points of proof of residency documents are required for the application process.

Year 7 Transition and Enrolments

All Victorian government primary schools follow the statewide Year 6 to Year 7 placement timeline.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child at a Victorian government secondary school. Applications for Year 7 open at the beginning of Term 2.

Other Year Level Enrolments

We also accept enrolment applications for students in other year levels. You can submit a request at any time during the school year.

Eligible students who live within our school zone are guaranteed a place. Students who live outside the school zone may be enrolled where places are available.

Enrolment Restrictions: Enrolment Management Plans (EMIP):

Our school has an enrolment restriction under section 2.2.16 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic). Approved entry criteria for our school are:

  • students who live within the school zone
  • students with a sibling attending the school at the same time
  • students seeking enrolment on compassionate grounds, in exceptional circumstances.

All students seeking enrolment at our school must meet one of the above criteria to be eligible for enrolment.

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. Your school zone is determined based on your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their local school. Students may enrol at another school if there are available places.

All families wishing to enrol at Kambrya College must completed an ‘Application for Enrolment Form’

Outcome of Enrolment:

Enrolment outcomes are communicated via email to the enrolling parent’s/carer’s once the enrolment has been assessed.
