Our laptop program is an exciting opportunity to improve student engagement, promote greater academic achievement and provide teachers and students new ways to learn and collaborate.
Some ways our students will use their computer include:
- Using Word to write letters and essays
- Using Publisher to create posters and brochures
- Accessing podcasts and videos created by their teachers
- Using online learning tools such as Manga High
- Using online communication tools such as Email, Compass and Office365
- Completing digital worksheets and workbooks
Year 7 students are required to bring a Windows 10 based device and must have a stylus. These will be leased from the school through our Laptop Lease Program. We do not support Apple Mac, iPad and Android Tablets. Mobile phones are not permitted to be used as a laptop and digital learning device.
Students who do not own or bring a device to school can be supported by our IT team and Sub-School Leaders.
2023 Year 7 to 9 students – Laptop Lease Program
In 2023 all Year 7 to 9 students will use a consistent laptop with a touch screen and stylus pen. These will all be sourced through Kambrya College as part of our Laptop Lease Program. This will ensure every child has a quality, reliable and consistent stylus-enabled device at an affordable price. These are all backed by 3 year comprehensive on-site warranty and 3 year accidental damage protection insurance.

2023 Year 10 to 12 students – Online Laptop Portal
To assist parents in the purchase of a device, Kambrya College has entered into a partnership with Edunet who will provide an online portal from which you can select the computer that you wish to buy. These devices have been sourced in accordance with the Department of Education and Training approved suppliers to ensure a quality product is used in the school.
